Why Publish With Us?

The process for publishing a book chapter with us is described here. Herein, we list some of the reasons which could help authors decide whether to publish with us.

NCBI/NIH/NLM Bookshelf, PubMed, and Europe PMC indexing

We believe we are the only private STM (Scientific, Technical and Medical) publisher in the world who submits all edited books for indexing in NCBI/NIH/NLM (National Center for Biotechnology Information/National Institutes of Health/National Library of Medicine, USA) Bookshelf, PubMed, and Europe PMC immediately after publication. If our claim is inaccurate, let us know with evidence. We will not only correct the error but also will provide a 50% discount on the publishing fee of the online version of your article. Click here for more information on indexing.

Trusted by authors from reputed institutions

We are a trusted publisher. Researchers from world’s leading institutions, including five of the top 10 Universities, according to The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2021, have published with us. Many of our authors are ranked among the top 2% of the most-cited scientists in the world as per a recent study published in PLOS Biology.

Exceptionally low fees

Our fees are exceptionally low. Currently our publishing fee is only USD 500 for online-only OR USD 700 for online plus hardcover copy of the book. See more information under Publishing Fee. The following unedited comments of an author who has published with us is self-explanatory:

It will cost at least US$1500 or even more for publishing an open access journal article (some are not even PubMed-indexed) nowadays. $700/per article, including a hardcover copy of the book, is not that expensive given its open access and PubMed-indexed.

Performance of chapters

Authors can monitor the performance of their chapters. The number of downloads and the citations are available below the abstract of each article. Authors do not have to login to our site access these details.

Publication in three different formats

Each chapter gets published in three different formats: pdf, html, and xml. This substantially improves the discoverability of the chapters.

Unrestricted free access

All chapters are available for free to anyone with an internet, anywhere in the word, without any restrictions. Readers do not have to sign in or register with our site to access the pdf of chapters.

Digital Object Identifier (Doi)

Dois are assigned for each book, and for individual chapters. Also, we identify and include the dois to references in the list if they are available in the Crossref database.

Authors retain the copyright

The authors retain the copyright of their chapters. There is no need to transfer copyright to us.
