We have a signed agreement with Thomson Reuters (now Clarivate Analytics) to submit all our books to Web of Science Book Citation Index (WSBCI). Please note that this database is different to the database of Web of Science for journals. The process for journals is entirely different from the process for books. We submit the books to WSBCI immediately after publication and notify them of submission as per their instructions, but if or when to index is exclusively at the discretion of WSBCI. We do not have any control over it. It is a lengthy process for a decision to be made (could be more than a year). Also, we believe records are updated once a year by WSBCI. This means, even if a book is accepted today (after the long wait), it could be years before it is indexed. Some of our books are indexed and for others we are waiting for a response from WSBCI.
