Publish a Book Chapter with Exon Publications

The tentative titles of books open for chapter submission in 2025 are listed below. If you wish to publish a book chapter in any of these books, please familiarize yourself with the following:

  • Expression of Interest: April 30, 2025, or earlier
  • Chapter Submission: July 31, 2025, or earlier
  • Publication: October/November 2025, or earlier
  • Publishing Fee: Please review the publishing fee details.

Publishing Process

  • Expression of Interest: If you are interested, review the list of books open for chapter submission and register your interest by the deadline by contacting us at books@exonpublications.com. Please provide a tentative chapter title and a list of authors along with their affiliations. No additional information is required at this stage.
  • Project Confirmation: A book project will proceed if at least seven chapters are registered by the deadline. If fewer than seven chapters are received, the project will be canceled.
  • Full Chapter Submission: If the project proceeds, authors must submit their full book chapter by the deadline.

Chapter Overview

  • Word limit: 5,000–7,000 words, including the abstract, figure legends, tables, and references.
  • Maximum number of figures: Four (all may be in color and multi-panel).
  • Maximum number of tables: Two (each must not exceed a single page).
  • Note: Original articles and case reports are not suitable as book chapters.
