RISK FACTORS OF THROMBOSIS

Thrombosis can be influenced by various risk factors. Several factors can contribute to the development of thrombosis, including genetic predispositions, lifestyle choices, and certain medical conditions.

Genetic predispositions

Genetic predispositions play a significant role in the risk of thrombosis. Some people inherit genetic conditions that make their blood more likely to clot. For example, inherited thrombophilias are disorders that increase the tendency for blood to clot.
